Sète and its surroundings

Only 3h30 directly from Paris and 2h from the Pyrénées. On one side Montpellier (20km), on the other side Beziers, Sète is easy to access. Come visit the "singulière" island to see the french Venise, walk along the colored original building, take a boat to crossmany bridges and discover the natural beauty of the Etang de Thau. Visiting Sète is have a drink in the "halles", get lost inside and discover the fresh and local products, taste a fresh oyster accompagning by a glass of local wine or try the famous pie called "Tielle" and "Giulletta". Come here in Sète and "walk to the cross" and traveling many way to the "mont Saint Clair". On the top of Sète you will have a view on Frontignan, Balaruc, Mèze, Bouzigues and may be you would see the Pyrénées during the beautiful sunset. Concerning Art, you can visit all museum in Sète as "Brassens Museum", "Paul Valery Museum", "sea Museum", the "MIAM" and many other show room and music festival, poetry festival. What's more Sète is also famous for the languedoc joust which take place in the "Royal Canal" during the feria of "Saint-Louis" we celebrate the king of the king's joust, the event take place in end of August. But Sète is also "pointe courte" districtwhere small typical houses filmed by Agnes Verda take place, the "quartier haut" district with the artistes and the district of "corniche" where start 12km of sand starts. Finally Sète is local, friendly and beautiful places and more.....
